Welcome to the latest incarnation of my website! I have recently been named CEO and President of Language Computer Corporation in Richardson, Texas. I'm just starting out in my new position, but I'm committed to ensuring that LCC remains a key innovator in the field of natural language processing for years to come.

I was previously a senior computational linguist with LCC. My work at LCC focuses on how lightweight systems for computing forms of textual inference -- including textual entailment, textual contradiction, and forms of temporal and spatial inference -- can be used to enhance a user's experience with natural language search and information extraction tools.
